Are you passionate about empowering people to achieve their optimal health through personalized nutrition? RVNAhealth is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our dynamic team. As a critical part of our mission, you will work directly with clients, patients, and agency clinicians to develop specialized diets and nutrition plans. In addition to clinical work, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate with our marketing team for community outreach, speaking engagements, and health-related events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend and actively participate in health and wellness events, offering nutrition screenings and mini-counseling.
  • Develop and present nutrition programs for community events.
  • Write nutrition-related articles for agency publications, newsletters, and websites.
  • Create educational materials such as forms, recipes, and other resources for clinical and community use.
  • Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for home health and hospice patients.
  • Schedule and deliver individual and group nutrition counseling services, including billing and documentation.
  • Partner with the marketing and development teams to build the business and promote RVNAhealth’s mission.
  • Represent RVNAhealth at fundraising events and other community initiatives.
  • Actively participate in the agency’s quality improvement processes and staff meetings.
  • Provide constructive feedback to enhance agency services and performance.
  • Maintain punctuality and good attendance per HR policies.
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Utilize agency systems effectively for documentation and communication.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a currently licensed Registered Dietitian in the state of CT.
  • Proficient in computer systems with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to teach and communicate complex information clearly.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Compensation: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
